Students who wish to begin taking courses within the Pedagogical Formation Programme in the Fall Semester of the 2026–2027 Academic Year may apply via SABİS between the dates specified below.

Students who are in their third year of undergraduate study in terms of their programme duration and who have not previously applied may apply for the Pedagogical Formation Programme. Participation in the Pedagogical Formation Programme is not compulsory.
Students applying for the Pedagogical Formation Programme must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.00/4.00 at the time of application.
The student quotas allocated by field are provided in Table 1.
Applicants will be ranked within their respective fields, starting with the student with the highest CGPA, and will be admitted to the programme according to the quota allocated to each field. In the event of equal CGPAs, the student with the higher YKS placement score will be given priority.
This is a preliminary application and does not constitute course registration. In order to take the elective courses offered within the Pedagogical Formation Programme, students must select the relevant courses via SABİS on the dates specified in the Academic Calendar.
The credits of the courses taken within the Pedagogical Formation Programme (40 ECTS) are not included in the 240 ECTS required for graduation from the student's registered undergraduate programme. However, the pedagogical formation courses taken will be recorded on the student's Transcript of Records and will be included in the calculation of their cumulative grade point average.
Students who complete the Pedagogical Formation Programme during their undergraduate studies will have the statement “The Pedagogical Formation Programme has been completed.” included on the reverse side of their diploma.
No applications will be accepted in the Spring Semester.
