Applications for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for the 2026–2027 Academic Year will be accepted online via SABİS. The examinations will be conducted in person.

For courses: An Education Certificate or a Letter of Reference obtained from an authorised educational institution or a public institution, documenting relevant learning and training.
Note: For practical learning acquired in institutional workplaces and learning acquired through in-service training, certificates or letters of reference must document the applicant’s knowledge, skills and competences, the activities performed, and the duration of employment and/or training. Such documents must be approved by the highest-ranking authorised official of the workplace. Letters of reference issued by academic staff members will not be accepted.
For internships, workplace training and workplace practice: A portfolio prepared during the student’s work at the relevant workplace or an internship logbook prepared in the format specified by the relevant department.
Note: Students must provide documentation demonstrating that they were registered with the Social Security Institution (SGK) during the period in which the relevant learning outcomes were acquired. The application must include documents, approved by the highest-ranking authorised official of the workplace, demonstrating the knowledge, skills and competences acquired, the activities undertaken, and the duration of employment and/or training.
Note: When the Workplace Training and Workplace Practice courses are evaluated together, applications exceeding the 15 ECTS credit limit will be accepted. Students applying for recognition of prior learning for these courses will not be eligible to apply for recognition for other courses.
